TOXIC FRIENDS GET LEFT BEHIND

The older I get the more I start to realize that there really is no point in wasting time with people you don't 110% love. Over this past year I went through a really tough time and one day I hope soon, I can be able to help people who are going through similar situations. In the midst of this emotionally draining time, I think I had an epiphany. I know it sounds crazy but when the clock struck 12 yesterday something just clicked. And I just needed to share it with everyone.

Burning off the holidays

As we all know holidays mean family, food, and even more food (plus a side of food of course). I think this is why around 90% of people make it there new year's goal to get in shape. For all of you wanting to burn off those holiday turkeys or just get back in shape here are a few of my favorite apps that keep me motivated and keep me healthy when I don't have time to get to my gym. I hope everyones New Year is off to an amazing start. As the 2015 has now officially began I realized that I hardly have got to personally meet my lovely readers. Now obviously I know I am a newbie to the whole blogging world and that I don't get many (or any) comments, however when I look at the stats I know someone out there is reading.

My New Years Resolution

Why are resolutions saved for the last day of the year? Why not make resolutions every day or week? I finally figured it out, if we made resolutions or "self promises" on other days of the year then we would all feel more guilty when we don't fulfill them. I mean think about it one day one 24 hour day out of the 365 days in our year we stop and look back and think "hmm.. what should I do different this time around??", ACTUALLY NO scratch that we think " hmm.. what do I want so badly to do different but not really accomplish this year?" This tradition of new year resolutions is getting pretty old to me because we all know that almost no one really follows through with them so what is the point? I feel as though these so called resolutions are just a whole set up, I know I may sound crazy but lets really stop and think for a moment, when was the last time you reached your resolution. In fact I don't even know what my 2013 resolution was, do you?

I think I mentioned a little project I have been working on lately and I just wanted to keep you updated on it. Its a never ending project honestly, I always look at those very rare creative souls who have a very individual style, or talk to those who have just an amazing way of life and I think- No! I Know they deserve to be noticed, to be recognized, and for more people to know them because if I happen to see someone on the street that makes such a huge impression just by their style, or music, or opinions, just imagine what an amazing impact they make on the world. Crazy, I know.

So it's not only for the creatively dressed or well dressed but also those doing amazing things in general. I hope this project goes as planned ( aka very successful ) and I do not end up procrastinating.

Writers Block

My lovelies I am totally and completely lost. I have no idea what to post, what to write, I'm just lacking inspiration I guess. I need ideas but where do I turn to for that?! So I am turning to you all. Any and every idea works I love hearing from all of you so if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. High School Harry Potters

Have you ever just encountered people in life that can make you feel so insignificant, so just worthless by casting only a few choice words your way? I mean those who are not your friends, not your enemies, but you know them because everyone knows them. They almost cast a sort of spell on you and not a love spell oh no, but a spell that can make you want to be their best friend and also continuously think throughout your hour and a half pointless high school class of ways to "accidentally" trip them for all to see! Its insane because life is so short yet so long and to think that the status of these spell bounding... shall we call them "wizards", has any significance is mind blowing. I am here to tell all you high schoolers out there who have come in contact with these horrid "wizards" and also anyone else who has at any point in their lifetime; that however you felt in their presence whether it be awkward or insecure to just stop. I know easier said than done trust me I know. But as soon as you get squeamish as soon as you try to play off that little teardrop in your eye waiting to fall as the "sparkle in your eye" you let them win. I know we have heard this same stupid schpiel a thousand and one times but I want this particular schpiel to stick with you wherever you may be. I am not telling you this because I have mastered this or because it will rid you from all of your problems but because if it only be for a day, I want you to feel empowered and strong around these High School Harry Potters. A very wise person in my life always loves to remind me that these wizards I witness in school don't change over time. Meaning that this little rant I just wrote applies not only to high schoolers or college students but adults too. Its sad I know but I think with a little help we can band together and outnumber "Harry Potters" everywhere once and for all.

What to do... What to do...

I haven't quite decided how I want this blog to be, you see I want it to have style but I also want lifestyle and I want it to have Diy's but also talk about dkny. So basically I'm not going to classify Anonymously Chic as a fashion or style blog per say but more of a blog about everything. I have recently come to the heartbreaking realization that there are hardly any blogs or youtube channels that talk about the latest fashion trends and also how to gain the confidence to pull the more eccentric ones off. I decided to kinda just wing it on here, if I'm being really honest. I might start combining the youtube aspect and the blog aspect into one because I have to say it has always been a dream of mine to be a "youtuber", but I can never bring myself to just up and abandon Anonymously Chic for good. So I am sitting here in a nail salon writing this post to you lovelies to finally be honest because honesty is the best policy (well.. sometimes) . I really hope you all give me any and all of your input, any ideas for new posts or if I should incorporate video in here. Let me know in the comments below any ideas and what you think of the look, wondering if I should add anything else on here... I love when you all respond so let me know what you think

Where are you?

I know you all must be double maybe even triple checking to make sure you have entered the right blog. It has been a long time coming and while my blogger ethics, shall we say, are somewhat fuzzy I am learning (slowly) but hopefully surely. I decided why not completly start from scratch, new look = new outlook! ummm.. well maybe not but I am hoping its a start. I don't want to ramble on too much with a yet another "I'm back so get excited" post, so I'm going to just end it like this, unfinished.
